Casa Vitae is a traditional, renovated Venetian mansion that was originally built in the late 16th/early 17th Century. Located within the city walls of Rethymon, it offers easy access not only to the shops, bars, tavernas and restaurants within the city, but also to the Venetian harbourside.
Casa Vitae is somewhat unique in that it remains one of the few detached buildings within the city walls that also offers a courtyard in which guests can relax.
The 8 rooms and suites at Casa Vitae maintain the traditional feel combined with an airiness, all face the courtyard area. The 3 standard double rooms are all located in the annexe just across the courtyard from the main building. They offer a cosy space for a couple and have either a hydro shower or bathtub. Superior double rooms maintain the Venetian style combined with Ottoman architecture. They are larger and offer the addition of Jacuzzi bath or hydro shower, 32” LCD TV and balcony or juliet balcony. There is also space for a 3rd bed. The 2 junior suites offer increased space, and Jacuzzi bathtubs along with balcony/juliet balcony. The junior suites are also able to accommodate up to 3 guests. All rooms offer air-conditioning, fridge/minibar, toiletries and there is also wi-fi internet access in public areas.
