Ios

Ios – situated between Naxos and Santorini is renowned for being the burial place of Homer, the poet or poets.  An island for everyone, Ios offers long sandy beaches perfect for sunbathing and nightlife as relaxed or lively as you wish. Mylopotas (the most popular beach on Ios) is regularly voted among the best in Europe. Ios is easily reached from either Mykonos or Santorini, taking between 40-120 minutes. Ios is the perfect island to combine with many of the Cyclades islands.
