Serifos

Serifos is raw and ruggedly beautiful – steep sided valleys plunge to aquamarine bays lined with some fantastic sandy beaches.  Psili Ammos has appeared in the Sunday Times “Europe’s most beautiful beaches” list over recent years.  

Virtually deserted outside of the picturesque hilltop Chora of the small port area of Livadi, the rest of the island has echoes of past mining enterprises – rusty tracks and cranes and even the odd half bridge to nowehere.  Mythologically, Serifos is famed to be where Perseus grew up and where the Cyclops were said to live.  Today, Serifos offers some great walking
