Leros

Alluringly untamed and beautiful, Leros is scattered with stunning Orthodox churches, dazzling blue coves and whitewashed villages and is said to have been the original home of Artemis the Huntress.  Platanos, the capital, with its windmills and fortress towering above makes a strinking centrepiece to the island and down below, the harbour of Agia Marina is a bustling little place.  Leros is all about finding a favourite beach and allowing the magic of the island to slowly unfold.
