Zante

The island of Zakynthos (commonly known as Zante) is covered with rolling hills of olive groves, lemon trees and bougainvillea.

The fabulous coastline is as impressive as the interior – sandy shores, turquoise sea caves, hidden coves and soaring cliffs offer grandstand views of stunning Ionian sunsets.  The famous Smugglers Cove is the most famous of the beaches here.  The island is also the major nesting spot for the famous loggerhead turtles.
